Unit Introduction Support

Would you like to have your unit introduction video captured and edited by the Arts LD&P team?

Our service offering includes professional video capture in a production studio, with a teleprompter and a green screen. You will need to supply your own script before the day and will be allocated a half an hour block for your capture. The Arts LD&P Team will work with you to ensure you walk away with an exciting unit introduction video.

Shoot Information

On The Day

What you’ll need to bring:
Please also bring your script on a USB as a backup and any other notes required for speaking.

What to wear:
Smart attire, simple plain colours, simple graphics, ideally matte low shine fabrics.

What not to wear: Repetitive patterns, or shiny fabrics, large logos, no green in clothing if shooting on green screen.

In preparation:
Practice reading the script aloud ahead of time. Approximately 150 words is equal to 1 minute of speaking time. We can pause and break between sentences when needed. It can help to record yourself on a smartphone or device to watch back for tone, sentence structure, timing, flow, and composure on screen.

Post-Production Phase

Once all video materials have been captured, our video editor will assemble the clips according to what was outlined in the script template document. This will formulate into an edit.

The edit will be shared with you for feedback, and/or approval. If further edits need to be made, there will be a second round of edits prior to the finalisation of your intro video.
