What is Digital Humanities?
Digital Humanities is an expanding academic field concerned with the application of digital resources for a new age of humanities. The use of digital technologies is becoming increasingly vital to students and academics of all ages. This field encompasses the learning of software that can create transferable skills for use in the workplace and in education. This includes anything from the use of Adobe Creative Cloud software in creative arts and content creation, to learning to analyse data and manage spreadsheets with Microsoft Office or the Google Suite. To put it simply, Digital Humanities is how we interact with academia using new digital resources to amplify our learning.
